Matt is an Air Force veteran of 22 years and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. As a Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL), He held many positions to include Squadron Superintendent of the 3rd Space Experimentation Squadron, Operations Superintendent of the 2nd Space Operations Squadron where he was responsible for the crew readiness in support of the GPS satellite constellation, US STRATCOM’s Executive Officer to the CCMD SEL, First Sergeant duties for the CCMD, and Space/Cyber/Electronic Warfare Intelligence in support of the CCMDs. His background is Satellite Command and Control with a specialty in Research and Development and Cyber Mission Defense Teams. Matt has worked with many governmental agencies in the Space Operations domain to include NASA. 

Additionally, he was a Professional Military Education Instructor at the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy and a co-author of Air University’s Space Education Working Group curriculum focusing on orbital rendezvous and proximity operations. Matt holds a BS in Aerospace Science and employs his leadership, management, and instructor background to recruit employees, enhance customer relationships, and highlight Heptagon IT as the company of choice for IT solutions.

Matt and his wife, Jill, happily live in Prattville, Alabama with their two children. They are both active in the community with several organizations and enjoy exploring Alabama
