Founding Member, CIO and Principal Engineer

Brenden was introduced to the Information Technology field while Active Duty in the United States Air Force. He was selected by name to attend some of the most advanced network design courses offered at that time by the Air Force. Upon separation from the Air Force and prior to co-founding Heptagon IT, Brenden owned and operated a successful IT company that focused on the medical, banking and legal sectors for 10 years. He has more than 20 years of IT experience, and 10 of those years were focused on Enterprise-level hosting of mission critical applications supporting the warfighter for the Defense Information Systems Agency. Brenden feels just as comfortable working a solution for a small to medium size business or addressing the unique challenges facing large enterprises.

Originally from Randolph County, Alabama, Brenden lives in Wetumpka, Alabama, with his wife and two children. In his free time, you will most likely find him on his Kawasaki Terxy4 riding the hills of Talladega, Alabama, at “Top Trails” ATV park.

“My time in the United States Air Force taught me the importance of cyber security. I take our work to protect it very seriously.”
